God is moving!

I. am. so. very. happy.

He is Lord and beautiful and God of the eleventh hour! Before coming to Austria, I was supposed to have 5 interviews. When I got here, I had 2 confirmed. But I still continued to job search and contact schools for any job openings they may have. I was able to secure another interview for Noah’s Ark Kindergarten, for yesterday. I took the bus and u-bahn (pronounced oo-bonn) which is the subway here in Vienna by myself. On my way there, I was praying the rosary and really lifting up the interview. “Ok Lord, if I don’t get lost, then that is a good sign.” [I got lost on my last interview haha] So I’m walking… and walking… worrying that I took a wrong turn… and then alas, I see the street the Kindergarten is on. I was a bit early so I stayed in the foyer praying the rosary. I go upstairs and introduce myself saying I had an appointment with Kathy. The man who greeted me happened to be the owner, and told me that Kathy was out for the day and that his wife would meet with me but wasn’t ready yet. So he took me on a tour of the school. The school is AWESOME! It is bi-lingual. There is a german speaking teacher and native english speaker in each class. It starts from toddlers and they are renovating to add more grades by the summer, up to 7th grade. He asked me why I was moving to Austria, if I were marrying an Austrian (ha), and I was just completely honest with him about my discernment and how God keeps affirming me to be here. He told me that the reason they started the school was simply to bring Christ to children. That’s it. He used to work for Siemens for 24 years and left to start the school. It’s in a Muslim district. (Mad Turkish people live there) After the tour, I met with him and his wife. Again, they kept asking me questions. Basically, I gave them my life story. About how I really found my faith in the community, doing full-time work, the call to serve in Europe, Japan, being back home after Japan , etc… She told me about their hiring process how it’s usually a few weeks. After initially meeting with a candidate, she goes through a week of working interviews so the staff could get to know the candidate and so the candidate could get a feel of the school. Then if they like her, they offer her a position. She goes, “We’re not going to do that with you. Well, because you’re here. And from spending this time with you, I like you. We’d like you to work here. [To her husband] So now what?” =DDDDDDD So her husband said now we try and get her a permit to work here. I explained to them the research I did in obtaining one and what I would need. So they said they would write a letter offering me a position, stating my salary, why they need me, etc. (Because the Austrian government is REALLY selective on giving out visas, most especially to Americans) So they’re going to write the letter in a way that shows I’m a special applicant because of my background and experience. I’m going back on Monday to sit down with the owner and write the letter with him! He said that if I get a visa, then it’s affirmation that God really wants me there……  !!!!

I’m trying not to get overly excited because there’s no guarantee that my permit will get approved so I continue to lay it all down before Him. I’m praying for the permit people and the consulate people, so that they will approve me! haha

I actually have another interview tomorrow (with the company I worked for in Tokyo) and then another one next week (which is also teaching English to children). I’m still going to go just in case, because you neever knooww hehe.

THANK YOU for continued prayers.  I wouldn’t have gotten to this point without you and your prayers.

Mama Mary, St. Joseph.. pray for me!

p.s. I’m in Gaming again haha. Cay needed to come here for this thing so I came with her because I love it here THAT much. And you will, too! =P

p.p.s. Here is the school!http://www.mayflower-christian-academy.at/index.php?id=29&L=1
