HMMMMmmmm

what to blog about? i think i’m the worst blogger ever.  i’m inconsistent. i don’t have much insight. what actually entertains people (at least i think) is my stupidity. hahahaha but that’s okay. i’ll blog anyway.

i worked today. i’m usually off on tuesdays. but it’s a holiday and i signed up for extra lessons which means extra paayyyy. yeah yo. i only had one student and he is probably one of the most entertaining students at the school. his english is rubbish. he doesn’t study. but i can’t help but laugh at him (and with him!) during the lessons. haha for example, “what are you doing today?” toshinori, “ehh uhhh umm today, my birsday!” hahaha i want to take a picture with him one day.

i bought a sweater from the gap today. it was on sale. i haven’t gone shopping in a long time. i think it was a christmas present to myself.

you know it’s so easy to be a hermit in tokyo. ironically. there are so many people in tokyo, yet it can be one of the loneliest cities. not that i’m lonely, because i’m not. (shockingly) seriously, God is totally holding it down. my life here would be SO different if i weren’t trying to live a live pleasing to the Lord, seriously. on my days off, when i don’t meet up with a friend, i do nothing. haha absolutely nothing. except clean, read, reflect, laundry, watch movies/tv shows (streaming because i don’t own a tv), chat, and surf the internet. see, i would go out more and explooore but i think i get lazy and i’m also trying to save money. okay, i’ll make a promise to myself that after new year’s, i will go out more.

oh i never blogged about my dreams. let’s just say God has a great sense of humor and he knows how to embarrass me even when i’m sleeping. hahaha =(

today is a 3-day week for meee! yay! since we have Christmas day off. But I work fri-sun. Poop. But that’s okay. New Year’s break is pretty long because it’s the biggest holiday here in Japan. on new year’s day they actually go to shrines and pray they will have a good year. (it’s like the only day they go in the year)

i’ll blog more seriously after Christmas and new year’s.

holy cow, has it really been a year already?!?

last year, america. this year, japan. next year, who knows?! ;)

PEACE OUT.

Konbonwa! (Good Evening!)

A few weeks ago I went to the Shibuya 109 building. This is how crazy the sales are.

Aaand after church on Sunday, apparently this famous anchorwoman from ABS-CBN and her boyf were there. So all the pinoys flocked to take pictures. haha

And theeen that night, I went to Dog’s Bollox (Bollox means testicles just in case you didn’t know. I just found out on Sunday hahaha) Paulo performed.

This chick performed right after Paulo. Ummm…. yeah.

And this band performed last. (They’re the same band as in the last performance because they’re a band for hire and i think that chick hired them). The video is of the bassist because I was super entertained by not only his mannerisms but also his straight outta the 70′s outfit.

And lastly.. I took a (stalkerish) video of some chick walking in the station. HAHA it’s kind of creepy but i wanted to show you how they walk!

I housed Erik from Chicago and his friend Savvy! They were nice enough to buy me Friends DVDs (ALL seasons!) from Vietnam! woohoo!  Thanks Erik!

Aaaand I bought a Nintendo DS! hooray! But I have yet to get a microSD for the supercard so can someone (ahem lenes ahem) send one to me? thanks. they are so expensive here! it’s like $30 when you get it for like $8 in america!

It’s so humid here, it’s disgusting. I’m thinking of just bringing my work clothes in my bag so I don’t have sweat stains all over them.

On a serious note… I am so super duper happy to hear all the great, amazing stories from conference! (both of them =D ) God’s doing something up there.. and when it comes time to revolt, you can count me in! hahahaha hmmmm maybe I shouldn’t have written that.. oh well. It’s weird being here but at the same time, I have no doubt that this is where I should be right now although I wish I could share all these perfect moments with everyone.

I started teaching myself hiragana. (one part of the japanese writing system, there are 3 btw). i know how to recognize and write

a – i – u – e – o. (I tried posting with Hiragana but the characters just turn into question marks, boo).

hooray!

(they don’t have L in their language really so that’s why they turn everything to R. my name in japanese is RISA)

I hope you learned something new and I hope you enjoyed the videos! (They’re kind of boring so I understand if you didn’t haha)

God bless your day!

crass.

this will be short because i have to sleep soon since i have work in the morning. (WOOHOO! It’s my Friday!)

Let me tell you about the dream I had a few days ago.

I walk into a language center that I’ve never been to before. (That’s what Berlitz, my company, calls the schools/building/office). I notice that they’re all guys in the room, and I say, “Wow! It’s a sausage fest in here!” HAHAHA and then one of the guys says, in a disgusted tone, “You are SO crass.” HAHA so the next morning, I woke up, and I thought, “Hmm maybe God wants me to be more lady-like.” OK OK I know I have to work on being more demure. I think it’s super ironic that I’m here in Japan where the girls are SUPER DUPER lady-like and demure! Well, ok, the majority are at least. Today I burped in the teacher’s lounge and the only teacher in there just looked at me. (Hi Kei! haha) And I said, “Sorry I know I’m crass.” HAHAHA (I’d like to believe I make up for it in other ways like clothes/makeup/hair, yeah? no? hmmm)

Also, I think it’s funny that “ASS” is in CRASS.

I am so crASS

But hopefully when I go back to America, I’ll be more like a lady. However, I know there are some, ok or a lot, of skeptics, out there… including myself. hahaha =)

God bless you!
